We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Analytics (planned). We plan to use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that doesn't use cookies, to count page views, referrers (for example, which AI assistants send visitors) and searches that found nothing. It is not enabled yet. When it is, this page will say so.
• Newsletter (planned). If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our email provider, Kit, to send you the newsletter. Signup opens soon. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Payments. Sponsors pay through Stripe. We receive the payment details Stripe shares with merchants (name, email, amount), never full card numbers.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, and no selling of personal data.
• The site's search runs entirely in your browser; what you type into it isn't sent to us.
